Interest credited in ppf a/c is necessary to show in itr?

I have a PPF Account of my name. I have received approx Rs. 29452/- interest in PPF A/c in FY 2016-17. But amount of interest not drawn by me. Is interest on PPF is necessary to show in ITR column of EXEMPT INCOME? BCOZ, interest of PFP a/c is tax-free? Please give your expert opinion.
