Int on late payment of TDS

07 June 2011 If TDS Entry as per books made on 30.04.2009 but no payment has been made yet.....i.e as on this date...07.06.2011.

If I want to pay with interest wt is the rate of interest applicable?

Is the rate of interest 1% or 1.5% rate applicable before 01.07.2010?

07 June 2011 1 % per month from April,2009 to June,2010

1.5% per month from July,2010 to June,2011 (if paid till 29/06/2011).

Can u pls tell me how to count the no: of days for 30.04.2009 to 01.06.2011.

Is 30.04.2009 includable while counting the no of days.

As per my calculation 27Months.
Is it right?

as per my count it is 27 months is it correct?(Including 30.04.2009 & 01.06.2011)

15 Months 1% Int
12 Months 1.5% Int
