Int. on housing loan

i have a house co-ownered with my wife using for self residence.
we have a joint housing loan account in our name.
can we share int. on this loan to the extent of 150000 each.
sec 24 is silent. is there any case decision regarding this.

you are looking at the wrong section. Refer Section 26. both co-owners shall be eligible to claim deduction for interest paid by each one of them
