11 July 2011 Service tax on input services referred to in Rule 2(l) of Cenvat Credit Credit Rules'2004 is input service tax.Input service tax can be adjusted by service provider on output tax payable. Manufacturer can adjust input service tsx paid against excise duty liability on final products.
