Input credit of service tax charged on debit notes

Dear Friends
If the service provider is raising debit notes and charge service tax on the amount involved therein, can the service recipient claim input credit of service tax paid on such debit notes?

Yes input credit may be claimed, but name of original invoice must be appear on debit notes.
