We have obtained Working capital loan / to get Bank Guarantee from ICICI Bank.
In turn we have mortgage some of our office premises (As collateral security). ICICI Bank has gone for valuation of our office premises & raise a invoice as enclose
May i request you to guide us
Whether we are eligible to get the service tax paid by us as Input Credit ?

In the query, the copy of the invoice is not available.
However, the valuation i being made for banking facilities and the service tax is being paid to the banker.
On this assumption the service received is an Input service from the banker and the ST paid can be availed of as CENVAT Credit.
