23 October 2010 we r excise exempted food product manufacturing unit as well as vat also exempted in our product in local sales now question is that we r purchasing raw & packing material & paying vat as well as cst can we get input credit on this purchase ?

24 October 2010 Since your final product is exempt from VAT, you are not eligible for claim VAT on any inputs

25 October 2010 actually we on local sales there is no vat but out of state we have to charge cst 4% if c form not provide by party i this condition can we get input credit????????

25 October 2010 Vat and CST cannot be set off vice versa
