15 April 2015 Service tax Invoice Received in April for dated 5th April 2015.
These expenses are of March15.

Can I Book the expenses and take the credit in march itself.

Pls Confirm.

22 April 2015 Since These Expenses are pertaining to March Only so for Income Tax I have to claim these in March Only, Accordingly Service tax Input Credit will come.

Further Note, Your Reply should not come like "How can you do so"...which is not proper reply as per me.

22 April 2015 you can book the expenses.. bt wil not b eligible for credit part....!!!

Because one cant take credit of tax which hasnt been paid... i.e. if the party had chargred it in april month date... they wil b liable to pay it as per april due date..

and u were claiming it before than this...

lets wait for some more expert's comment

22 April 2015 Yes...service tax credit is not allowed...but need to book the expenses..agreed.
