Dear Experts,
For the past 2 days, I have been confused over the following issue which I humbly submit for your consideration.
In case of only increase in remuneration of MD of a Public Ltd Company, whether the company has to file e-form 25C ?
Please clarify me upon this issue.

Hi
No need to file Form-25C, it is return of appointment.
In case, where remuneration increase require government approval then Form-25A will be filed to CG.
In both case Form-23 is required to be filed with in 30 days from the date of passing of resolution of increase in remuneration.

Thats what I felt too. The purpose of the form is clear as to the return of appointment of managing director/ whole time director/ manager.
But there seems to be too much confusion on the issue even on this forum.
I would like to keep the status of this query as open as to invite more comments from all respected experts
