A NOTICE U/S 148 FOR AY 2005/06 RECVD ON 25/01/2012 WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE TO CHALLANGE THE NOTICE WHETHER SIMPLY IN WRITING TO THE ASSESSING OFFICER OR MISC WRITING PETIATION IN THE HIGH COURT

If you count it from the end of the Assessment year i.e. 31.03.2006 it seems that the notice is received well in time and the exercise to reply the notice has to be seriously initiated in spite of concentrating on challenging the notice.
