does d method of selecting cases for scrutiny is computerised?
One of my client is showing is showing cash on hand around 25 lakhs & its tax audit is also done so are there any chances of scrutiny

Selection is done by both the methods I.e through online and offline.
It's totally depends upon the AO

CASS is the computer generated scrutiny. The norms are normally published well in advance.
In addition to this, the AO may call for scrutiny, subject to however, prior permission from the CIT/DC/AC as the case may be
