06 August 2012 My income tax refund cheque was returned as the house was locked and when i did online application for change of address , the application was rejected and the reason given was " Efiling data not availabale in CPC table.After that i have now send an application again to bangalore with cancelled blank cheque and requested to transfer the refund to bank.Have done the right thing or should i just go to income tax office and ask for cheque.

07 August 2012 Login to your e-filing account.

Under My Account select Response Sheet for CPC Refund Failure Status.

The application for reissue of refund will be accepted only if the status shows that the refund has been returned.

So check the status first.

07 August 2012 In my account I submitted a request under 143(1)/refund / 154 service request , in this request I applied fOr change of address ( by paper to new address) and I got reply that refund reissue rejected , reason efiling data not available in CPC tables .
