one of my friend (resident) provides consultancy services to client outside india through internet and client out side india pay him through neft.
I want to know tax implication on such income.

A resident in India is required to pay tax on his Indian and foreign income. Since he is providing consultancy services on charge basis through internet from India, payments made by outsiders will constitute his Indian income.
