I want to know whether I can deposit my self assessment tax in any bank..even if I do have the bank a/c in the bank.

yes. Income tax deposit can be made any bank which they have facility. if you are not having bank account, need to pay cash or through some other person account

I just need to fill Challan no 280 and deposit in any bank..

Vil I get the BSR & CIN on the spot when I deposit cash in the bank..or I have to wait for credit in Form 26AS.

u dont need to wait for 26 AS.

no need to wait for 26 AS, can deposit in all banks in which tax deposition facility is avaiable
