Income tax Demand

10 July 2010 I have file income tax return a.y 2009-10 my gross total income rs. 150030 total tax due rs. 3 but it is less then rs. 5. So that i have not deposit the amount of tax but department have issued demand notice for rs. 3.What is my responsibility.

10 July 2010 pay the demand isn't that better though the incometax need not raise demand if the tax liability is less than rs.100.
