08 April 2011 When is the duedate for payment of service Tax on Import of services. Is it when payment is made for the service or accrual basis?

Please let me know the Rules or notification for that.

10 April 2011 YOU ARE RQUIRED TO PL.REFER TO RULE 3(b)explanation 2of the Point of Taxation Rules,2011,being brought by the Finance Act,2011 according to which the due date as required shall be the datwe on which trhe invoice is received or the payment is made whichever is earlier.So after the date these rules will be applicable it will be the scenerio.
At present as you know it the date of payment which is to be considered for the same.CA.S.M.Pareek
