Dear Sir,
Under a proprietory concern, I am planning to import from China, solar glass tubes wich is being used in the manufactture of Solar Water Heating systems-mainly used by residents. Kindly let me know (1) the import duty structure of the same, i.e., Basic Duty plus CVD, SAD etc.(2) also let me know the HSN code (3)chapter heading for this item

Dear Sir,
I am an importer of that product and sale it in indian market to the manufactirer of Solar Water Heaters. I am having IEC Code as Merchant / Manufacturer. Is there any giverment scheme under which I can import it duty-free - since this product is used in renewable energy source plant mfg purpose ?

duty structure is :-
basic custom duty 7.5%,
acd 4%,
cvd 10%,
cess .56%
