12 April 2018 Friends,

My company marketing employees stay in Tamilnadu hotel gst state code 33 (in bill amount+cgst+sgst) bill raised my company gst but my company located in Hyderabad gst state code 36 .

how should i claim cgst & sgst , I ask him to give the bill (amount+Igst) but the peoples are saying IGST not applicable to us .

what can i Do ?

12 April 2018 IGST not applicable on hotel stay hence ITC can't be claimed as it is state specific.

12 April 2018 Yes... The hotel correctly charged the GST as CGST and SGST. The place of supply is in tamilnadu and it's a intra state supply... CGST and SGST is applicable... Your company can't avail the ITC benefits for the bills

13 April 2018 IF IGST NOT IN GSTR RETURN HOW HOTELS FILE RETURNS?MY COMPANY STATE CODE 36 IN RETURN FILING THEY ARE FILED 36 STATE CODE HOW TO FILE CGST & SGST IN PLACE OF IGST?
