If TDS Amount is paid in cheque

In Our company there is tax audit and we lost id and password of our on line banking. one of bank agree to accept the payment in cheque so is it ok or not.
Will it create problem or not?

IT'S OK.

The income tax department is concern with the payment only. It is not concern whether u pay through cheque or online. If payment is made, there will not be a problem.

It is mandatory to deposit TDS online but you can pay to bank on behalf of your company by cheque or debit authorization to bank to deposit TDS via online payment module.
