27 August 2010 Dear Experts,
i could not clear group in ICWAI FINAL(OLD SYLLABUS) but i got 59 marks in cost audit and management audit paper. Miss by one mark to avail exemption for next term.

now my question is
Q-1 Should i go for rechecking?If yes, than what is the procedure?

Q-2 how much fees per paper for paper rechecking?

please guide on this.thanks

27 August 2010 u should go for rechecking bcz june 2010 was last attempt for the old syllabus under 2002. if u get exemption then u can take the exemption in new syllabus 2008 for respective subject.

but can the rechecking form with Rs 100 per paper is to be submitted to ICWAI head office or to the chapter office?

what will be the duration or the period we get the rechecking result?
will the result will come before the exam?

do they intimate us about rechecking result?

28 August 2010 Generally,It will be announced before examinatation, but after examinatation application date only.so better you send exam application also. for safer side

28 August 2010 institute will send the result of rechecking with the roll no of next term exam.so it is better to send the exam application also.

I have send printed application to the head office,ICWAI with fees as per the rule of the institute. is it ok.Only name and reg no is handwritten.

will my application be accepted?
