I am karta of my HUF. I have 2 sons and 2 daughter-in-laws and 3 grand children. I wish to give gift of about 2 lakhs to one of my daughter-in-law from my HUF. Can I give the gift to her. Please advise.
If cannot give gift to her from my HUF. Can I give gift to any of my grand children. Please advise.

Huf can not give gift more than ₹50000
Otherwise it taxable to her.

daughter in law becomes member of the HUF once she marries the son of Karta (Mitakshara school of HUF) and then gifting to member is no harm for HUF.
