Dear Sir/ Madam
If Husband & Wife are both Joint Owner of any House. Can take husband rent receipt from his wife ? Can Husband claim HRA of the same rent receipt.
If the husband can claim the HRA of the same rent receipt then which is the clause/Section of the Income Tax Act.
Please Guide me.

There is no such commercial relationship between spouse allowed under act.so rent receipt taking from spouse cannot be allowed
