HRA exemption claim

30 November 2010 Dear sir

I along my wife and parents live in our ancestral house. The house is registered in name of my parents. They don't have any taxable income and hence do not file income tax return.

I claim HRA deduction as I show rent paid to my parents. My query is : can my wife claim the similar deduction from her salary for the same house.
