Dear Sir,
My brother is currently staying in Delhi on rent with his family( self+spouse+ 2 kids) and paying a rent of Rs 30000 p.m. Now he is shifting to Bangalore for new job but he is not shifting his family as it will be a travelling job.
He will take a Smaller accommodation for himself on rent in Bangalore. My question is -
1. Can he claim HRA exemption for the total rentals combined paid in Delhi and Bangalore ? If not, can he claim only for Delhi and not for Bangalore as Delhi rental is very high.

He can claim only rent for Bangalore house which he is staying.cannot claim claim Delhi house rent
