27 January 2015 A cent. Govt employee who are earlier getting hra and after transfer he is staying organization guest house , his HRA amount is deducted from his salary.now question is
1 whether HRA amount which is deducted from his salary is included in his toatal income for the respective period.
2. How much period rent receipt will be taken from him

27 January 2015 1. Yes, it is deducted from your income only, so need to so the deducted amount as salary

2. Since there is no HRA part in your salary, you need to claim the deduction u/s.80GG for your rent expenses.

3. Actual rent deducted can be taken as rent for those period

28 January 2015 suppose Ram stay in job in bhubneswar from 1st april to 30june then he transfered to patna and stay in guest house of organisation . Now in his salary HRA admisible amount deduct from his salary and paid net amount from July onward now question is
1. In Bhubneswar he is getting 10000 pm HRA ,whether we have to receive rent receipt for that period.
2. Organisation deduct from his salary rent amount of rs 8000/- as per rule which is exceed 100000/pa what is the exemption amount at the year end?
