hi, my uncle got a notice from the department saying that he has to file his return of income for AY 2010-11 through e-file, he is a principal of government school in andhra. So what needs to be done in this case?

The notice is clearly saying that, has to e-file the return. Extension of time limit for filing of ITR-V forms for AY 2010-11, AY 2011-12 and AY 2012-13 has also been given. So we have tried to file the rectification through online but in the dept site there is a mis match while i am entering the notification number. So what needs to be done to resolve this issue?

Last date of filling return for AY 2010-11 was 31 Mar 2012.

For 2010-11 and 2011-12 the time for efiling is over but since you have received notice you can file physical returns
