How to prepare Excise Invoice

01 April 2009 We are using Accounting Software to print Excise Invoice on plain paper generating automatic invoice number. I want to know if the computer System fail or Software fail or no power in office and we want to sale product at that time, how can i prepare excise invoice, pls share the information, procedure for the same.

01 April 2009 In Such Emergency conditions you can prepare your Invoices manually, But care has to be taken to see that the serial number mentioned on the invoice is in continuation to the previous Invoice made.
No govt. Dept say's that you cannot have manually maintained documents

02 April 2009 Can we keep Blank Preprinted Excise Invoice Book without serial number for emeargency ? Actually its not allowed under excise, Pls suggest
