How to open tbk file in tally?

Quick Summary
TBK file is a Tally backup file and cannot be opened directly. Use the Restore option in Tally, provide the TBK file path, and restore the data to access it in Tally.

16 December 2014 I had taken a back up of data from tally and it is in TBK format. Is there any way i can reopen this file in tally again? If yes, how can i convert this? It is not getting open if i copy the path!

16 December 2014 first open the tally software and you can see the option " Restore" in the gateway click and give the path name which you have the particular TBK file and it will take and restore the backup and you can view once restored
