How to get tds correction statement

Please help in the following issue,
I have filed TDS return, but in that i gave an amount of Rs. 54574 to another person. Now i want to give it to the person it belongs.how can we do the correction in the Traces Site.
Please do the needful ASAP

Hello...
In present senario, you need to apply for online correction statement. than only you can make changes online. You can update the correct PAN and submit the return.
Once the retrun verified by NSDL you can check the status of Correction Statement.
You can also make changes offline for that you need to download the correction statement and need to use correct utility and make changes, then you need to file the return at any filling ceneter.

should we separately apply for correcting the statement sir?

You should apply for Correction statement for the period in which correction is to be made. Then TDS file originally submitted by you will be sent by TDSCPC. You can make the correction in the said file and upload the same online or physically file the same with facilitation centres.
