How to file income tax returns without tan no

27 July 2016 Dear Sir,

I am having my salary payslips and i have to File my income tax returns but my company is not having the TAN No [its a proprietorship concern] so they was not issued form 16, can you please let me know how i will file my income tax returns without TAN No in ITR1

27 July 2016 you can file your ITR......TAN of employer is required if income tax is deducted by employer......and if income tax has been deducted by employer, means he should be having TAN....... and if he is NOT having TAN, you ask him to refund your income tax, if any, deducted.....
