04 September 2016 Hi.

Please guide me that how much should i charge the Service Tax from my client for Photography and Cinematography services? is there any limit of amount on which service tax will be charged or i should charge on every invoice no matter how much the amount is.. please guide

05 September 2016 If your annual turnover is more than 10 lacs in the previous year then you have to charge 15 % service tax on all invoices raised during the year no matter how much amount is.

05 September 2016 So it means if i my turnover in 2015 is 10 lac or above then i have to charge service tax on every bill in 2016 is it? Or i should start charging service tax from day my firm is registered?

06 September 2016 Yes you are right on every bill in year ending March 2016 you have to charge service tax, in case for March 2015 year ending it exceeded 10 lacs.
