Please clarify whether deduction allowed u/s 80C for principle repayment on let out property.(AY 2017 - 18)

Yes allowed. All that matters is that the property and loan should be on the assessee's name. Whether let out or deemed let out or self occupied doesn't matter for claiming deduction
