11 September 2011 Male assessee has a self owned and occupied house. Wife and children live together in the house.
Assessee’s wife has purchased a house in another city, which is unoccupied and not let out.
Question: In the Wife’s tax returns, will the house be eligible to be shown as Self Occupied Property (i.e Self owned property, but not occupied); and hence can the Annual Value be shown as Nil?
