20 April 2015 if there is unrealised rent it is still taxable and when it get realised in subsequent years it again get taxable ? is it double taxation

20 April 2015 Unrealised rent is taxable in the previous year in which it is realised.

There is no double taxation on unrealised rent.

However when rent is due for a particular month and is received in another months then rent receivable is taxable in the previous year in which it is due.
e.g. rent of march is due in march but is received in April then rent receivable for the month of march is taxable in the month of march only.
