02 January 2011 In Final CA there is a subject of Accounts.
In accounts there is a topic Holding Compnay.Which Text book or study material has expalined this in simple language.
Please let me know the name of the Author or relevant way to master this topic.

02 January 2011 First of all understand the concept about the Holding Company.

Suppose one HUF is there.

Just imagine the Grandfather is running his business at Surat.

He has two sons who are settled at Valsad and Mumbai.

Now one Grandson has been permitted to settle at Dubai.

At the end the year; they will put all the accounts at one place i.e. Surat and will know how much belong to them jointly.

Whatever amounts are outstanding in between them; would be strike off and similarly the capital would be adjusted as if this is one and same.

First of all; refer theory of study materials and solve the examples at your own.

Also solve suggested answer published by the Institute.
