18 June 2010 Is it necessary to give the details of transport agency for whom service tax is paid (like tds return), while service tax payment or filing of return?

18 June 2010 Yes.List of GTA need to annexed which the ST is paid but now E-return you can keep the details produce on demand

18 June 2010 Since the list of GTA is not annexed now, can any excess payment of ST in any month be adjusted against payable of any subsequent month?

18 June 2010 List annexed is procedure,but you are asking I am not annexed and not informed to the department the related payment i will adjust with others then how your ST returns will match with your books of accounts and any delay payment Department may demand for interest in future

18 June 2010 In past some freight charges accounted double time, so the ST was paid more now those duplicate entries are removed. Could we adjust that excess paid ST due that mistake now for ST dues?

18 June 2010 Geniune mistake always can be rectified through revised return in case revised return time barred you can adjust current payment and return
