GSTR 9- Annual Return for 2024-25

20 November 2025 We have filed all ourGSTR-1 and GSTR3B of 2024-25 on time but the Portal is not enabling our Annual Return form GSTR 9. Message saying that please file all your return then only it will be enabled.Please advise what to do.

21 November 2025 - System Dependency: GSTR‑9 is enabled only after the portal confirms that every monthly/quarterly GSTR‑1 and GSTR‑3B for the year is filed. If even one return shows “pending” or “not filed” in the backend, the annual return remains locked.
- Acknowledgment Delay: Sometimes, even after filing, the GST portal takes time to update the filing status. This can cause the error message.
- Nil Returns: If Nil returns were required for certain months but not filed, the system will block GSTR‑9.
- Portal Sync Issue:
- Wait 24–48 hours. Sometimes the system takes time to update filing status.
- Clear cache or try logging in via another browser.

- If all returns are filed but GSTR‑9 is still disabled, raise a ticket:
- Go to Help → Grievance Redressal Portal.
- Attach screenshots of filed returns and ARN acknowledgments.
