Gst registration mandatory on export of services

19 January 2019 sir,
we are exporting services. our turnover is below 20 lakh. as per notification no.10/2017 dated 13.10.17 gst registration is not mandatory on interstate supply of services if aggregate turnover is below 20 lakhs. whether it is required to take gst registration? please help

19 January 2019 If the turnover is below Rs.20 lakhs then there is no need to obtain GST registration as per the notification. The same hold good even for turnover consisting of export of services.

21 January 2019 As per Section 24 of CGST Act, the person who is making inter-state supply to take GST registration compulsorily. Export is considered as inter-state supply.
