20 January 2018 1 No need GST registration if you expect your turnover Will be below 20 lacs for the year.
2 Do business with current account of your name.
3 Client will ask PAN only. They will not ask GST number if you don't charge GST.

20 January 2018 Agree with CA R Seetharaman Sir...just wanted to add...GST No. is not mandatory for opening Current Account.

20 January 2018 Yes... I agreed to Mr. CA R SEETHARAMAN Sir.,
and my view.,

1. No need registration if your T/O less than 20lakhs.. In case your clients want GST no and it will help your business then go to register...

2. Some banks not giving current account for the Individual name. So, You can register your firm under "UDYOG AADHAAR" scheme and use it for banking purpose. (This option if you can't register under GST)

3. Yes... In case your bill values are exceeded in based on TDS. Then they will be deduct TDS. So, Asking PAN...
