One of our employee's joining date is 01.08.2006. He submitted the resignation and left on 16.06.2011. as he has completed 4 years and 240 days in the fifth year, is he liable for gratuity?

According to gratuity act 1972 , all employees irrespective of status or salary entitlement on cokpleation of five years service except in case of death or disablement . on rendering of five year or more than 4 year and six month service , qualifying period ok In ur case your employee is eligible for gratuity
