Property(gift) received from Spouse(relative) is exempt from tax - sec 56 but i have a doubt...
whether clubbing povisions U/S 64 affect this??
Is there any possible way to receive property from spouse without attracting tax or clubbing???
No agreement to live apart and not adequate consideration..

There is no way you can take gift and not attract the provisions of clubbing from your wife.

Give her gift just before mariage day i. e. one or two day before marriage as the gift will be at the time of mariage the same will not be taxable u/s 56(2) and since husband wife relationship was not there at the time of gift the same will not be liable for clubbing.
If already married then no option to escape the provisions of clubbing.
