11 June 2015 is it mandatory to create gift deed for the purpose of section 56(2)(vii) (for cash / property).

if yes please provide gift deed format.

do we have to register gift deed anywhere?

11 June 2015 In case of gift of cash/movable property not necessary though advisable but in case of immovable property it is a must and registry also.
