Dear Sir,
As a Pvt. ltd. company we had purchased
3 Nos. of Industrial gala in 2001-02 at
Rs. 3000000/- and now we like to sale it for
Rs. 6000000/-
What will be our tax liability on gain from above sale.

No tax. The indexed cost of the gala would come around Rs 61.13 lakhs. So not liability should arise.
