I have a furniture rental business. Basically, I have two models. I either buy furniture and then rent them out or I rent from manufactures and rent it out again.

Do I need to pay VAT on the service that I provide?

28 June 2011 "Right to use" movable property is considered as "deemed sale" under VAT by certain states. Pl check the provision in your state VAT act.

Does Karnataka have that provision? The business is based out of Bangalore currently.
