Hello sir,
I wanna know whether freight charges included in the sales bill shown seperately and no mvat charged on the f.r Charges
Is vat chargeable on Fr charges disclosed sperately in the bill?
What is the remedy one can adopt?
The disclosure of the Sales Bill is as follows:
Sales Items (Basic)
Add Vat 4%
Gross Amt
Add Freight Charges.
And Also suggest measures to avoid future liablity of Vat Tax Amt.

Though, I have not gone throught MVAT Act, normally, VAT is not levied on cost of freight charged separately.
U may go thriugh thye definition of "sale price" given under MVAT Act.
