27 October 2010 Investments purchased during a financial year and no info regarding the purchase is said to the auditor during the audit.

27 October 2010 The auditor may put his observations in writing and get written reply for the issue among other audit queries. If the auditor is not satisfied with the company's replay, include the question and answer suitably in the "notes on accounts" with a reference of that note in the audit report in such a way that the report should be either qualified /giving a negative opinion,depending on the amount / period of delay involved ,about the true and fair view of the nature of company's accounts.
