Form no.16 download from nsdl website

22 June 2012 We have downloaded Form No.16 from NSDL website but the Form is showing TDS deducted entries only. Employee is asking to show on total salary paid during the FY. Please suggest how can employee file his I.T.return with the help of F.16 of NSDL.

22 June 2012 The Form 16 downloaded from NSDL does not contain details of salary paid, exemptions and deductions.

It is better to issue a manual Form 16 to enable the emplpoyee to file his return.

Also, it is NOT mandatory to download the Form 16 from NSDL website.

The requirement is only for Form 16A.
