can housing co op soc fill form no 15 g to lower it rate of tds or to avoid tds totally

If the income on which tax is to be deducted is interest on securities or interest other than interest on securities or income in respect of units ,15G can be issued provided such income shall not exceed the maximum amount which is not chargeable to income tax.
