hi,
as per new rules all TAN holder has to provide the tax deduction information in form 17.
pls provide me how we can electronically file these forms.
Also the 8th amendment states that it is effective from 1st of april 2009
whether that means the form 16,s issued after that dates or the form 16 realting to the period 1-4-2009 onwards

I THINK YOU PLS CHECK THE AMENDMENT IN DETAIL. FORM 17 IS NOT ANY TYPE OF CERTIFICATE BUT WHAT I UNDERSTAND IS THAT IT IS A PAYMENT CHALLAN FORM. & CERTIFICATES OF DEDUCTION WILL BE ISSUED SAME AS BEFORE BUT IN NEW FORMATS WHEREIN SOME ADDITIONAL DETAILS ARE PROVIDED
