01 June 2015 one of my friend is having gross salary of 4 lacs.after taking in to account chapter VI deduction it is below taxable limit for 2014-15.his 26 as statement is showing no entries.can he get form 16.is it necessary to get form 16?

01 June 2015 yes it is advisable to get form 16A from the employer as an evidence backing figures to be included in itr.

02 June 2015 he cannot generate it himself. The employer will give it...if employer is unable to generate from traces, then manual income-certificate can be issued

04 June 2015 But if 26 AS is not showing anything.and there is no tax deduction on account of chapter VI Dedction.can his employer generate form 16?
